COMMON QUESTIONS

● DO YOU DO COMMISSIONS?

Yes, for landscape paintings and, eventually, portraits or other motifs. It is important to note that for photo based paintings, the provided reference picture need at least good lighting quality and at least medium resolution.

● I LOVE A PAINTING OF YOURS BUT IT'S ALREADY SOLD. CAN YOU RECREATE IT FOR ME OR OFFER A FINE-ART PRINT?

I do not recreate my original artworks because I believe they have to be one of a kind.
Regarding prints, please contact me and I might be able to make a print for you if the original is accessible to do a digital photography.

● WHAT PAPER/INK DO YOU USE FOR MAKING PRINTS?

I make prints on premium "canvas" semigloss 280gsm paper with archival pigment-based inks, which are designed to last over 100 years and provide the most beautiful vivid colours.

 

● DO YOU SHIP TO MY COUNTRY?

Yes, shipping is available to anywhere in the world plus 18 brazilian states. But it is necessary to combine.

  • For Art Materials and small volumes, the shipment is only inside Brazil, by Correios (PAC ou SEDEX);

  • For framed paintings (canvas+support), only to 18 brazilian states by road transport company;

  • Internationally, for framed paintings, only up to 60cm in greatest dimension. Extra taxes may apply.
    Larger format paintings will be removed from their original support, rolled up and packed in tubes. In some cases there is a risk of the paint delaminating or showing cracks after the work is unrolled.

  • "FINE ART" prints are rolled up inside a protective tube, both in Brazil and abroad. Its risk of breakdown is extremely low.

Your order will be shipped to the address sent by e-mail and entered upon checkout, so please make sure you have entered your address correctly.

 

● HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?

Your order ships within 2-4 days from the time of purchase. International shipping usually takes around 3 weeks and 1 week inside Brazil.

 

● DO YOU ACCEPT OTHER CURRENCIES?

For international orders, yes. Prices are listed in brazilian Real and will be converted to USD at the current exchange rate.
For internal orders, Brazilian Real only by PIX Transfer.

● CAN I RETURN MY ORDERED PAINTING OR FINE PRINT FOR ANOTHER SIZE OR REFUND MY ORDER?

Original painting or Fine-art print can only be returned if it was damaged during shipment.

 

● WHAT IS THE RETURN/REFUND POLICY?

If original painting or the print arrives damaged during shipment, I will gladly send you a new print or issue a refund. Please email me at lmchefer@hotmail.com and send a photo of the damaged package and print along with the number of your order. Thank you.
